How can I root the AT&T SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 I337 4.4.2?

I've been trying to root this or over a month with negative results. It's loaded with apps (354) & bloatware that I don't want or need. I'm starting to think that AT&T has made it impossible to root it! Am I correct??? Anyone, Please Advise & HELP!

I've tried that Towelroot method exactly as outlined in that thread. The Towelroot app just sais that my device is not compatible or something to that effect and does nothing. I tried several times with no results. I am using an I-337 4.4.2 NI1. Still looking for a current method to root this device. Do you know of one?
