    Something is up with this phone. The battery lasts just over 4 hours off a 100% charge. As seen in the screenshot, 68% is used by Android OS & System. The drain occurs while I"m not even using the phone and its just in "standby" mode. I understand it's doing things in the background but this is just ridiculous.

    I tried wiping the partition cache. I've tried leaving the phone off for an hour or so, hasn't helped.
    Any tips / help on what could be causing this? Thank you in advance!

    There are some others threads here with some people reporting the same issue with S4. Most cases related to a recent firmware update by Samsung. Did you have any system update recently?

    Search in the S4 forums for "battery drain".
