All,
I have a Samsung S4 (SCH-i545) phone which was purchased at Verizon.
I purchased a non OEM MHL 2.0 To HDMI Adapter and tried it on 3 different TVs. I did verify the input selection on the TV on each. I also tried it "powered" and non-powered using my OEM charger and a non OEM charger. So after all this testing and even using another phone as a test scenario... I assumed the adapter was bad.
So I purchased another Micro Usb MHL 2.0 To HDMI 3D HDTV Adaptor Cable but this time a OEM one.
The adapter is a Samsung Model ET-H10FAUWEGWW. Same tests as the first adapter with the exact same results.
So assuming that two bad adapters from two different vendors is probably not the issue I began reading and I stumbled upon the following adapter;
Samsung EPL-FU10BEBSTD
So I guess is this what I need? Has anyone successfully made a Samsung S4 (SCH-i545) connect to a TV?
Thanks,
Chris
