I've been using android file transfer but it just doesn't work anymore... What else works with mac? I've tried airdrop, only works with wifi. I need something that will work with only a usb connection. I won't always have wifi when I want to transfer photos.

You should be able to set up a peer-to-peer connection between the phone and the Mac, Or if you have Bluetooth on the Mac, try a Bluetooth file transfer program. Or - a variation on the old "sneaker net", an OTG cable on the phone so you can plug in a USB stick, then move it to the Mac.

I'm looking for an alternative as well as there are no thumbnails or icons of the files listed, and I can't find the option to view this way.
When looking at a huge list of pictures named DCN000001.jpg through to DCN1000000.jpg, I want to know specifically the image I'm looking for. Any ideas? Would love to hear them!
