Why is my girlfriend unable to save photos on her S4?

S4 Photo problem

My girlfriends S4 consistently does not save photos and when it does, the attachment shows what happens. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this and what we can do about it?

Well... First a few questions...

Is the phone running stock firmware or a custom Rom?

Is the phone saving the pics to external memory card.... Or internal phone memory?

Did this start happening after a modification of some type?

Can you record video?

Now I will try guessing...

If your pics go to external memory card try switching to phone internal memory, if that works... You might have a bad external memory card.(or card reader)

If the phone has a custom Rom... Try flashing back to a stock firmware.

If the phone has stock firmware and you are saving the pics to internal memory... And still have the same problem im afraid its the hardware camera module itself
Also... You might want to backup all your data /apps /contacts (externally) and try a factory reset from recovery mode.
