How do I sync my pictures and contacts on my S4?

I have a Samsung galaxy S4 and I am trying myself to sync my pictures and contacts. How do you do this, and can you explain in layman's term. Simpler than it was explained in other examples. I am trying to avoid getting change by a sprint store. Just please make it easy for all too read. What more do I need to say is that I am totally doing this in the blind. Help me out please, how much more do I have to say or even explain. Please help me out, that's all I am assuming. What more can I explain or say...

Where are you trying to sync these to? Are you trying to sync these to your Google accounts in the cloud or to your computer?
