    I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. Screen smashed, but phone still seems to function, battery charges, turns on, can transfer files to computer, etc. But screen function obviously do not work.

    I want to sell it as a defective device, but how can I erase all of my personal data from a phone that does not have a screen?
