Galaxy S4 completely unresponsive???????

I've had my Galaxy S4 for a long time, since late November 2013. Lately i've noticed that apps have stopped responding suddenly more commonly lately but not that common. anyways, around 10 minutes ago i was using it and it COMPLETELY froze. i opened up google chrome and it just froze; i cant do anything. i tried hard reset by holding the power down for 10 seconds but it didnt do ****. Nothing works and its stuck on that google chrome page.

That is not a hard reset! power off if you can and power back on, If that doesn't work, remove the battery and reinstall after a few seconds. Push the start button for a few seconds and you should get the Galaxy start screen!

If that doesn't work, press the power key and up volume key at the same time. This will bring up a screen with several options. Try the REBOOT option first. If all else fails do the HARD RESET from this screen. This will wipe the phone and remove all of your data and settings. his should be the last option you try!
