How do I go about stopping a software update prompt?

I absolutely hate the new software update for the Samsung galaxy s4. It looks like the love child of iPhone and fisher price. Having said that I ended up needing my spare phone which blessedly had the old software. Still its prompting me to download the new one and I don't want to. The most I can do is postpone for 3 hours and shut off automatic updates, but how do I stop the prompt so I don't have to keep postponing it?

The only way to stop the prompt is to update. Otherwise, you'll have to keep dismissing the update. Is there any reason why you don't want to update?
