Why won't my Galaxy 4 phone turn on?

My Galaxy 4 phone won't turn on

I turned off my phone to switch sim cards. When turning it on again, the screen is stuck on 'Samsung' the opening screen and it doesn't go any further. I have tried turning it on with the charger plugged in, with it not plugged in, with either sim card and no sim card in it, and I've also left it without the battery in for a day to see if that could help with no result.

This happened to my S3 a year ago, I left it for 2 weeks and suddenly it was fine again (I don't know how or why).

What can I do to fix this?

Try powering off by holding the Power button, then boot into Recovery. You might as well do a Cache Partition wipe while there, before attempting to Reboot.
If still no go, get back to us.
