Has my IMEI Been changed?

I bought an i9505 S4 of eBay, brand new and when it arrived it looked brand new. However I found the odd piece of AT&T software which was odd as they did not release the i9505 they had the i337 but my box says i9505, the sticker under the battery says i9505, the phone says i9505 and when I checked the IMEI it reports it as i9505.

I put my sim card in "EE" it will not register on the network, it scans and finds it OK but will not register, I tried another sim "O2UK" it connects but only to 2G and I live in a 4G area. All very odd so I thought I would flash with UK firmware, put it into download mode it reports it as SGH I337 and Odin will not let me flash the phone so I assume locked bootloader as the i337 has.

Any ideas?

Well you've been cheated! S4 and S4 AT&T has different HW! Look here: Samsung Galaxy S4 and AT&T, Canadian Bell, Rogers, Telus, Virgin Samsung Galaxy S 4 So you must flash firmware for SGH I337 not for I9505
