I have a new Google Chromecast (2nd Gen). I can cast from apps with my Galaxy S4 (Android 5.0.1) without any problems but can't screen-cast. I can screen-cast brilliantly with my HUDL2 tablet and my wife's MOTO G phone but not (satisfactorily) with my S4.
Everything is up to date. I have tried different apps, launchers, switching between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and rebooting everthing. I have wiped cache.
The Galaxy S4 will screen-cast initially but the quality quickly becomes awful. Music is very crackly and stuttering. Pictures freeze aftrer a couple of frames. As my other devices work faultlessly, I suspect the GS4 (hardware or software) is the problem.
This is driving me bonkers! Can anyone help me solve this, please?
