Device memory almost full help

Every month or so my phone tells me my device memory is nearly full & to delete over 300 pictures but all my pictures, videos & music are on my sd card. I've deleted a few apps I don't use anymore but the memory still fills up after a month. The only thing I can do is keep deleting the cashe. Don't no if this is a good thing or not. What else can I do to free up even more space?

Galaxy S4 GT I9505 on 5.0.1 lollipop.

Go to settings - storage and see what is using up your storage space.

Heard that not all apps can be put on the sd card. Could try that but do they run off the sd card? Here's the other screen shot.

I, too, have been going NUTS trying to figure this out. I deleted everything I could find but still had multiple gigs in music that I couldn't figure out how to delete til JUST NOW. Accidentally (while trying to figure out how to move "Play Music" app to sd card, I discovered I could erase all the app's data--Settings/Apps/[the app using all your space]/Clear Data.

Voila! I have tons of space now!!

Wouldn't that delete all your music? I don't wanna delete my music.
