How can I access Samsung Galaxy S4 S Memo notes?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. I had to send it off for repairs. I backed up my S4 on my PC using Smart Switch. The loner phone I received from my telecom provider is an S3. I used Smart Switch to restore the loner S3 with my saved S4 backup. The contacts, messages, clock, etc. transferred over. The apps and S Memo notes did not. (It is my understanding that I have to manually acquire the apps. Is this correct?) Is there any way I can access my S Memo notes? Or do I have to wait until my S4 is returned? (I have a Samsung Tab S2, if that helps.) Thank-you.
