I have an mp3 file contains 53 tracks (on my pc), when I copy this to my S4, It is saved as I folder with 50 tracks & 3 other folders each with 1 track. I have tried deleting from the S4 & re copying, just does the same.

Welcome to Android Central! You have a single file that contains 53 tracks, or do you mean that you have a folder with 53 tracks in it that you're copying over?

Thanks for the welcome, I have registered & posted this question again (steve48golf). its a folder.
I have done a bit of goooogling on this & it talks about track numbers, which I have checked & all seems ok.
Its annoying in as much as you cant play the whole album.

That's odd. I don't have a clue why that's happening, and will keep an eye out for a fix.

I merged your threads, since it can be confusing to have multiple threads about the same question.

Where are the MP3 tracks from? Did you rip them from a CD, or purchase and download them from an online music service?

Music files have embedded ID3 tag information, which includes things like track number, artist name, album name, etc. You can see and edit that information using programs like Windows Media Player or MediaMonkey. Music players typically use that ID3 tag info to organize music. If you want to group music from different albums together for consecutive play, that's where a playlist is handy.

Another option is to use a music player that is folder-based, not ID3 based. Try MortPlayer Music (free) or PowerAmp (which is on sale for $0.99 on Google Play for a limited time).
