Hi I have an S4 phone that has broken screen (doesn't work at all) and it is pattern locked, I want to use this device for testing porpoises but I need to factory restore it first, how can I do it?

If you have the credentials for either the Samsung account or the Google account the phone was set up with (and provided the device access wasn't disabled), you can log on to FindMyMobile (Samsung) or the Play Store (Google) with said accounts and initiate a remote device wipe. The phone needs to have data access for this to work, though.

Have someone replace the broken screen. If they do not disturb the internal memory you should be back in business!
