My wife's galaxy s4 started acting up a few days ago. The speaker seems to stop working completely unil i restart the phone, and once i restart it the sound may only work for a few minutes until it happens again. When the sound is working, if there is an incoming call, the phone automatically picks up in speaker mode even tho the menu clearly shows that speaker is off. I then have to turn speaker on then back off again to shut speaker off.
I have tried safe mode and this seems to fix the issue so im not sure what process or app could be causing this. Trying to find any possibilities while leaving a factory reset as a last resort
