Ballistic Tough Jacket case?

Got an S5 this weekend and put a Verus Thor case on it - slim, nice case, little slippery but not too bad, doesn't seem like a lot of space between the front glass and where the case wraps around, 'cut outs' and buttons work well.

Didn't see the Ballistic Tough Jacket case ($21) before I ordered my Verus Thor case...but see that it's supposed to protect the phone from a 6' drop.

So, is the Ballistic Tough Jacket case a 'safer' case than the Verus Thor? Is there enough extra protection from the Ballistic Tough Jacket to order it and keep my Verus Thor as a back up?

I have the Verus Thor case for the GS5 in hot pink and I love it! I didn't find my case to be slippery but I probably just got used to it. I saw reviews that the inner pattern is for better shock absorption and such. I dont know about 6' though. Let me know how the ballistic case is though! Maybe it'll be worth checking out

i've had the ballistic tough case on my lg spectrum, loved it!! I've dropped it pretty hard and it just bounces when its hits the rubber. I ordered the tough jacket maxx for teh s5, not really liking the clear screen for the s5 but the case is awesome. Nice and snug.
