A few days ago my phone would turn of and then kick on by itself, or sometimes I would have to power it on myself. I figured it may have been battery, but it wasn't the next day it would not turn on fully. Instead it would turn/vibrate on, reach the logo and shut off, continuously. I tried to reboot, but it just keeps doing the same over and over again. I heard it could have been the power button. I played with that for awhile, yet nothing has changed. Please if anyone can help with similar issues. I don't know what to do I'm just wanting to get my pictures at least off the phone. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Is there a reason why you don't think it's a battery issue? Have you tried a new or different battery as a test?

Also, try booting into Recovery and wipe the cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404

Remove the battery and reinsert it, if it boots without you doing anything, the power button is stuck.

Vibration during boot can be a sign of water damage. If the phone was very cold (like being left outside all night in below zero weather), then brought into a warm environment, you get condensation inside the phone, which damages it.
