move to SD card

I added a 32GB SD card to my S5 Active, moved my pics to it, my problem is my phone still comes up and says it doesn't have enough space to do upgrades...can I move apps to the SD card and still be able to us them, and if so how do I move them?

Most of what you move to the SD card is tiny pieces of the app - and leave a pointer to that piece in main storage, so you aren't saving a lot of memory - even if you move 10 apps, you won't gain much. Moving apps to the SD card is NOT a way of gaining storage. If 16GB isn't enough for the apps you need on your phone (just apps - everything else can go to the card), next time get a larger phone.
