Why lollipop use huge amount of ram ?

Hello everyone. I have Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and upgraded to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. But I check in setting at Running apps, there is showed 'system' use 1gb of ram. What's wrong with that ?? Any solution to fix this problem ?? I really need help here. :'( Please answer Okay. Sorry for my bad english

Welcome to the forums. Something to keep in mind is Android does not use RAM like a Windows PC does. Android prefers to have RAM full to make app switching more fluid and easier on the battery.

Samsung's version of Android may eat up more RAM than other versions of Android as they have hooks in the ROM that will require it.

Samsung has a lot of extra hooks and features in the ROM so it may not be that much out of the ordinary.
