This will work best if I give an example
Imagine I text someone new at 930pm. When I text them, a line above the text shows the date with the format: day (mon, tue, etc), mm/dd/yyyy. Then inside the message it has actual time for that day.

Now I don't text them till after 11pm, I get the new header line again saying the same day, mm/dd/yyyy.

At this point there is no problem because the day and everything else is correct. But the following day I text them at 830am (so previous day was Monday and now it is actually tuesday) I don't get the new string of tue, mm/dd/yyyy. The new day (tue instead of Mon) only shows up once I have hit the 11pm marker again.

It's not really a big deal but it frustrates me when I go back to look at specific dates for texts.

Yes I have "use network provided time" enabled.

I am using galaxy s5 active on att service.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks.
