how do i turn off emergency phone calls on my samsung galaxy s5 mini

ive recently bought a samsung galaxy s5 mini off the internet,i want to keep my old number that i was useing in my samsung galaxy s3 mini..i went in the phone shop yesterday and said i want a new sim card in my new phone but i want to keep all my contacts and data, but i want them swopping over to my new phone, they did it ok,but now all my new phone is saying is emergency calls only and its saying emergency calls on my old phone too...what can i do about this matter...please help..

Hello. Look at Settings - General - About Device - Status and see if your number and network is there. It may not have your number.
Also if they gave you a new sim card it may take an hour to activate.

Also check Settings - Calls (I think) More Networks - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names and see if your network has apn settings installed, you can tap on apn to check.

It could be a fault with the sim qhere you have to go back, or you will always get Emergency Calls Only if you are in an area where there is no phone signal.
