How can I un-downloaded and deleted videos?

un-downloaded and deleted videos

Hi, i plugged my S5 mini into my laptop (windows) and imported all pictures and videos ect....i watched all the thumb nails downloading (over 3000 pics ect) then once it was done i deleted the two main albums of my phone, to my horror when i went to look through them on lap top, there are no videos at all! i think most of the pictures are there but also lots of icons and weird stuff i didn't put on my phone. i don't know where they are or how to get them back, they are really sentimental :'( please please help!

Where were they stored? Internal memory or ext SD card? SD card in a card reader in a windows PC and Recuva software. Internal memory is less likely and would involve rooting.

i had two folders one was internal with about 2000 pics an vids and the other was mini SD with about 700 picks and vids...iv downloaded disk digger but im not sure if things like that will wreck the phone? lol sorry im not very clued up with the technical stuff
