The little sensor on the top right corner blinks red and turns my screen off whenever it is covered. I have searched through my settings to see if I can fix it but I couldnt find anything. Its really getting irritating! Does anybody know how to fix this? Thank you!

Does it do that at all times? That's the proximity sensor and it really should only 'kick in' when you're in a call as it's used to turn your screen off when your phone is near your face to avoid cheek button presses.

You could try booting into safe mode and see if it's an app you installed that's causing the issue.
