How do I Re-root S5 G900V after Android 5.0 A08 Upgrade?

Hello,
I upgraded my SM-G900V from a Rooted 4.4.4 to Android 5.0 via an Odin push of the stock 5.0 RPM. I had to do this approach since the OTA method would not work due to the phone being rooted.

I had originally rooted my phone via the kernel rollback method:
1. Odin back to stock NCG.
2. Install towelroot
3. Perform root, install SuperSU.
4. Flash latest kernel.

It worked fine in the 4.4.4 Series; however, after upgrading to Android 5.0, kernel A08, I tried the same method, but when I flashed the old NCG kernel onto the Android 5.0 it would not boot, it loaded into the boot-loader in fail-safe mode to restart or flash again.... So I am at a loss now.

I saw instructions here: http : //zidroid.com/keep-root-for-verizon-galaxy-s5-android-l-oa8/ but those are to Keep root and of course I saw them after I did the update, but it involved a Pre-rooted ROM and wasn't sure it it was advisable to use it.

Would anyone have any ideas? Perhaps a kernel that still works with Towelroot and with Android 5 as well?
Thanks.
