Need Help rooting S-5

When I plug my cable in to my laptop, Odin is not recognizing my phone. I get a deep double beep like my computer isn't seeing my phone. I would like to root before I'm forced to take the new update. I'm on unlimited and use foxfi for tether.

Make sure you have the SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones installed on the PC. Boot the phone into download mode (Volume Down+Home+Power) before plugging it into the computer. (You should get a warning screen first - Volume Up to continue to download mode, Volume Down to boot normally - press Volume Up.)
