No chance at all that you will, "mess it up", Uproared!

If you are on the latest Lollipop releases from Verizon, then they have very kindly and thoughtfully removed all the hassle, stress and worry of downgrading or rooting from their G900V firmware...

Verizon's new OE1 & OG5 updates prevent downgrading or rooting

Like the title of the previous link states... on OG5 you are well and truly screwed by Verizon on rooting I am sorry to say.

    No chance!

Neither their Android 4.4.4 or Android 5.0 were able to be rooted. That is why Verizon & AT&T users had to depend on downgrading to 4.4.2 to root their phones.

Now, even that exploit has been closed off, after a year, by those 2 carriers.

Not just on the S5 but also on other phones and models they manage.

Rooting is now history on their cloneware!
