can you make 3rd party app notifications bigger?

I've been noticing that all of my 3rd party apps give be very tiny icons on the top left (when screen is active). They're darn near microscopic in comparison to my other Samsung device running 4.0.4

This one is an s5 neo running 5.1.1

I may come back with screen caps to show the difference

As you are rooted, you could install the Xposed framework for the Galaxy S5 Neo and then download and install a UI editor module, such as Dimensions Editor or similar.
