I have been trying to make my notifications have a black theme on Android 7.1.2 on a Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900i) with the custom ROM Resurrection Remix. My
Android version is 7.1.2, and Ressurection Remix version is RR-N-v5.8.5-20171231-kltedv-Final (5.8.5).

I have tried a Substratum theme, however I do not believe this worked and I would prefer a non-substratum option, or a substratum theme that only changes the notifications.

I have been able to use the app Material Notification Shade on the Google Play Store to achieve a somewhat similar effect, however this completely changes my notifications style as opposed to just changing the colour.

I have root with Magisk, am somewhat comfortable with the Terminal and am willing to try new things.

    Thanks in advance!
