I'm an Android newbie who is going to be getting the S5 (first Android!). Apologies if this is a silly question or belongs elsewhere... I've noticed many of you are using different launchers. I was wondering, if you use, say, Nova launcher, do the stock missed call/email/text notifications show up on the lockscreen like they would in TouchWiz without a third party widget? What do these look like?

If possible, I'd also love to see what missed call/text/email lock screen notifications in TouchWiz look like (the default ones, not ones with a widget) look like if possible. It's hard to find screenshots since most people use Launchers it seems.

Also, am I correct in my understanding that to install icon packs and change the icon appearance you need to be using a Launcher? Thanks guys - sorry for the newbie questions. Please don't hesitate to steer me somewhere else if this is not the right place to ask or if a new thread would be better. All the screenshots here inspired these Q's

Smooth...can you confirm your icon pack? Also, are you using Nova Prime? Seems like a lot of icons for the launch dock unless you're on prime. Thanks!

I am not using Prime and I can have 7 icons on the launch dock. I am planning on upgrading though because I am really enjoying the free version of Nova
