Hi,
So I really want to make the switch from my iphone to the new Galaxy, but the only thing holding me back is this game that I play on my iPhone.
I want to know if there is a way I can keep my saved data if I were to make the switch. The game is also linked through my facebook, if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance! :)

Welcome to the forums.
If the game is linked to your FB, it might also be saved on their servers. If they have a FB account, I would send them a message asking if the transfer is possible. It may very well be, as people change devices is a frequent issue. I had a couple games where I wanted it off my Nexus and on my Moto X, and both wen through just fine.

Thanks for your reply.
I will try to contact them via FB, but I am not confident they will reply. :p
How did you get your games off your Nexus to your Moto? Did you use an app or did you just reinstall the app and log in?

Reinstalled. Because both are constantly connected to Google services, I don't even recall logging back in again.

The only thing I know for sure is you can't get your iTunes music that you've perchased onto a android device :/ it's the only reason I switched back. But I horribly regret switching back to apple. They're all the same. Atleast, with the galaxy you stand out.

Which game is it? I swapped from an iPhone about a month ago and I had quite a few games synced with Facebook that synced over to Android just fine.

Yes you can provided it is the DRM-free stuff (post 2009, approximately) or ripped from your own CDs. There are even work-arounds for the right-protected stuff. I recommend iSyncr for transferring iTunes music to an Android. It will keep your playlists intact.

As others have said, this is totally false. And most app data is not transferable except games. Candy Crush is transferable because of the FB tunnel so, to the OP, if it has FB, there's a good chance your data survive.

I used Google Play Manager to transfer all my iTunes music from my iPhone 5 to my Moto X without an issue.

Also Double Twist works pretty well for your iTunes library.
But I also downloaded my 10,000 songs onto Google Play Music. Took a while but it works perfectly.

Also don't forget to deactivate the imessage acct or the text messages won't come through.

Have fun and welcome to the wonderful world of Android.

That makes me hopeful, but I asked a friend who is an apple specialist at best buy (if that really even means anything) and he said it wasn't possible.
