It's the same phone minus some various radio bands for each carrier

Why is the verizon one 600, tmobile, att, and sprint one 650?

Plus/minus some bloatware no one really wants either

I think it's time to make a "one phone fits all"

Cdma costs more to implement, and is proprietary technology so they do have to pay money to qualcomm to use . With that said, Verizon has cdma and gsm and can keep the lower phone price . Of course, Verizon is more expensive for service overall .

Yeah but Verizon is pushing contract (either service or edge) phones. Sure you can buy at full retail but you don't get a discount in premium. A little cheaper phone price but hooking you in for two years.

Also the etf method should be a little cheaper too if you took advantage of the bogo plus 30 %off stacked promotion m8

True, but Verizon is CDMA and so is Sprint so that fit the equation and with GSM & CDMA & LTE in the Verizon phone it should cost more. I think it has more to do with how much profit the carriers want to make on full retail, their negotiated pricing and the fact that they all just plain suck.

But Sprint gives you a discount when byod. Verizon doesn't. So the lower retail price is to encourage people to sign a 2 year edge contract.

It means more to Verizon to "lose" $50 and get someone on edge contract.
