I am debating weather to hold out for the 32 gig version or not. How much room do you really have on your S5 without rooting?

I'm holding out for the 32 or a Google edition. I'm buying one of my kids a 16 on Friday though. If I was going to buy one for myself on Friday I would just go to the Verizon store and pick it up. There won't be any shortage, pre ordering this is nonsense.

I'm having the same dilemma. I added up the mb of the 3rd-party apps on my iPhone that I ACTUALLY USE and it's less than 500 mb. Do I really need to hold out for a 32? Last year AT&T didn't even come out with a 32 in white and that's what I would want. If I have a 32 gb sd card for music and pics I should be fine with a 16, right?

I would say you'd be fine with a 16gb with usage as you described.

The problem is its not really 16 gigs its only 8 or 9 free. I have held back downloading so many things on my s4 because of that.

Depends who your carrier is some have more bloat than others . 10.7gb allegedly. Sprint let's you delete and turn off most of their apps and Verizon does Not!

I have a 16gb S4 and I have tons of free space and a 32gb SD card. Not a gamer though.

I'm going with the 16GB and 32GB SD card. Should be more than sufficient for my purposes. I don't really do games; I'm currently only using 1GB of space for apps according to my phone's settings.

me too! My current phone only has 1.2 GB rom and I use about a 1GB. I don't game on my phone either. I have a black 16GB S5 pre-ordered and a 64GB card just waiting for some action!

I would have gone with a bigger SD, but I don't really think I'll need that much space. Plus I snagged a great deal on the 32GB on Amazon that I couldn't pass up ($25 shipped for one of SanDisk's fastest cards).
