If I didn't get my free Case Mate Sport she would be naked.

Until Samsung changes their Build it can go either way.

Looks decent but not as stylish as the previous Protective+ cases. Does it cover all the chrome trim? Its difficult to tell from the images.

Yeah sorry pics are a bit crappy. Yep it covers the trim by a couple of millimeters. Edge is also raised a mm or two. Nothing drastic but is good enough.

The pics are good but the way most cases are due to bad CAD designs given had me worried. Sure Samsung makes it but you never know. Well I guess I'll be using the case you got. I just hope it looks a bit darker on a black device.

I have one for my Note 3 and I love it. The best case in my opinion. Feels good, not greasy like some other cases. Headphone port has ample space. And it feels as if you dropped it the phone would be sufficiently protected and the case wouldn't be damaged.

Sent from the Galaxy Note 3...yeah, its spectacular.

Gotta keep it naked, the phone is too sexy to cover it up. I understand the reasons to get a case/cover for it but for me putting a case on it would take away the true beauty of the phone , I nearly dropped it once while I was taking out of my pocket by luckily my pinky caught onto the textured back and I was able to pin it to my thigh just in time

Not sure how I feel about this now that I got it. Nice and grippy but the edges wrap around maybe a bit to far. The buttons are responsive but maybe to responsive.

That and I just noticed Verizon S5 doesn't have Samsung on the back which makes that area of the case a bit awkward.

The ability to use the phone naked without worrying about scratching it easily or on a drop is one of the reasons that I prefer the s5 to the m8. The other reason is the camera.

Still using it naked since day 1. Only issue is the camera lens which I really think I'll scratch one of these days.

I'm a sissy and always get a case and screen protector for my phone. Right now I've got a Incipio Dual Pro Shine case and the Zagg glass screen protector. It does add size and weight but it's not too bad and I just feel a little more at ease knowing it's protected.

I can't go without a case. I like to keep my device top notch and in great condition so therefore a case is a must for me. I have the iloome flexible glass screen protector installed and is currently using a spigen slim armor (electric blue) case.

I've always run my Android phones naked. Droid 2, then S3, now S5. I'd gotten a couple of scratches on my S3 from 2-3 careless drops onto a wood floor, mainly pulling my phone out of the case when in a distance room in the house and running to frantically get to it, pulling it out of the belt case, and answer a call (I take it off my belt when I get home fyi). The scratches though were completely unnoticeable when the screen was on, could only see them at certain angles when the screen was off, so it never affected performance. But I never get scratches any other way since I keep it in a belt pouch, and now I don't frantically pull out the phone in a rush to answer anymore and have been more careful anyhow. My Droid 2 I never got any scratches on.

For me, nothing matches the smoothness of sliding across the glass, even glass screen protectors still feel more "sticky". So naked and careful has always been my choice and it's worked for me for 4 or so years now.

Zagg Glass shouldn't feel more sticky. It feels so smooth.

No. I'm sure the Samsung brand cover designed for the waterproof phone comes with the rubber seal which enables the phone to seal out water. No need to remove rubber seal I'm sure.

I don't use screen protectors. Have never scratched a screen on any phone.

I never carry the phone in a pants pocket where it can get scrunched up against misc junk, car keys, etc...

mine is naked. part of the appeal of Samsung is for me the plastic casing that is a lot more durable than metal on other phones. I don't worry about putting the phone down anywhere in case I scratch it.

I'm jealous. I put my phone in my pocket by itself and have still had scratches happen to Gorilla Glass.

That was my Note 2. Never went naked since.

I haven't used a case in years. Yeah, I've had some dings and scratches, but who cares? Doesn't look any worse than a case. One of the reasons I bought the S5 is because it is easy to hold without one. No phone should "need" a case, they should be designed from the start to be durable and easy to grip.

If I was one of those people who constantly switched phones and needed them to be in top condition to get top dollar for them, maybe I'd consider it. With iPhones even on two year contracts that makes sense because they hold their value so well. Android, not so much.
