    I really like them both and just can't decide which to go for. Here's my personal list of pros and cons for each. As I say, this is my personal view, like to hear other's views. Thanks.

    Feels more comfortable in the hand
    Looks better to me (very subjective this one, but imho)
    More durable; less prone to scratches and damage
    Galaxy Gear looks really good
    Easier to sell second hand (more demand)

    Better camera (slightly)
    UI is closer to stock android
    Better speakers
    Built in noise cancellation
    Not as common

    I think you've answered your own question, based on your lists of pros. I've never had a Sony device but have read up on them - but in the end, I'd get the S5.

    Get what you want - not what others are going to tell you what to get. After all, you're the one stuck with it.

    haha! I know, but for some reason the GS5 just looks and feels better to me, and if I've got to be looking at it everyday, that's the crux of the matter!
