Pictures not showing in texts

For some reason as of yesterday when someone sends me a picture message I get the following image....this started after I sent a video message, could this have done something to my settings? I have no idea how to fix this, besides taking it to AT&T. Please help! Thank you!!

Just got a text from my sister (she has an iPhone) with 4 attached pics, the first one is grayed out like the above example but the other 3 show up fine.

This has happened on my s3 and I tried everything to fix it. Then the next day I got pictures fine

Happens to me too. I have ATT. Its pretty tempermental. Some days it'll go through find, others I'll get that image in the OP. Don't know what's causing it. Tried off and on WIFI, from iPhones and galaxies.
