For me Yes. By the end of day, my S4 would be down to 30% with light/moderate use. While with the light/moderate use, my S5 would be down to 70%. But of course, I'm thinking the battery on my S4 maybe defective.

Before KitKat update some I got the S4 it was giving me about 4 hope of Screen On time and it was great at the time, then it came the update and the most I was getting before I got the S5 was 3.5 or 3.75 hours.

I've been getting constantly around 6 hours of the exact same use of the S4, and I have managed to get 7 hours a couple of times. So do the math.
