how to block contacts

Does anyone know how to block individual contacts? Both phone and texts on the S5?

I think some people know how but others don't.

Settings/blocked

You can create lists of calls that you will permit to call you.

If they aren't in that list, they get blocked.
ie, spammers wanting to sell you flowers for mother's day.

That list can also be set to block ALL calls between certain hours.

Then that one day your kid is calling from a random number for help because they just got mugged it will get blocked.

and that is why I will not use it.

I never know where my son is calling home from.
Today in Atlanta, GA....
