Just got my S5 yesterday and rooted it, played around with themes and icon packs but then accidentally did a system reset during a reboot. I didn't really care because I had pretty much nothing that would take long to replace. However, now the power button only works when I hold it down for a few seconds. It does not lock the screen at all. I did a system reset two more times to try and fix this but I have no idea what else to try. Does anyone have any ideas?

You need to set it "Instant Lock"

open Settings, click on the Magnifier Search icon.

Enter the letters INS

by the time you do that, you will see the following screenshot

put a check where I have it.

The 2nd screenshot shows the actual page it appears on, but the Search Feature is so fast, never need more than 3 characters to find what you want.
