new to s5 from apple. help

Hey guys I have been researching android a whole now and just need help on what apps to install etc. Ideas, help, and shortcuts would be awesome. Thanks.

Welcome aboard. As far as apps go, pretty much everything that you're accustom to in iOS is available with an android. What kinds of interest and needs that you have would help everyone give you some direction and recommendations. Spend some time looking through the forum and you will pick up a lot from the other posts.

I'm not really sure where to start. I have heard things about launchers downloading free music. Photography apps. Swift key. Again I'm very new and interested to learn. Just don't know wh where to start.

Welcome to android!
You can start by customizing you phone. To do so, you can download launchers like Nova launcher and Go launcher. And u can change the type of your keyboard by installing Swift key or android L keyboard, etc. Are u into games?
