I've been keeping mine on 35% and it does pretty good. Just bumped it up to 45% to see how that works.

Yeah, I keep mine around 35% too. If I put it any higher it's to bright for me. Works out great for the battery. And in the sun at 100% it's easy to see. Best screen I ever had on a phone.

I've always kept my screens at the lowest usable brightness. For the S5, 15% normally throughout the day. But then again I'm typically inside an office building most of the day.
For times where it's too dim to see in the daylight (as weird as that sounds), I have a widget in the drop down notification area. Makes it a bit less of a pain when I can't see crap.

Greyscale works pretty decent as well.

Does your battery last longer than an hour?

LOL. I have a 17 hour day and after 17 hours, 2-3 hours screen time my phone is usually around 30-40%. I use it for spotify (an hour or more) and to play games. I almost always charge it every night, but I can squeeze 22-25 hours off it before it gets down to 10%

I keep mine around 10-15% when indoors and I use auto bright while I go outdoors. It might end up going 100% outdoors.

I've plugged mine in off and on today but I'm sure my screen time is high because I'm on this a lot at work. I can usually last from 6am to around 7pm before I need to plug in. My iPhone would be dead by 10:30 in the morning.

About 50%, maybe a little less, when I'm inside. When I'm out in the sun, I switch it to auto (for those who don't know, the auto setting will make the screen much brighter when in direct sunlight as compared to just sliding the bar up to 100%).

I just got my Galaxy s5 and its my first smart phone. I was working on setting up my GPS and now my screen doesn't stay bright as it did. It is bright then dims. sometimes it comes on dim and gets bright. What did I do that caused this change in my brightness? Any one help me? Is it the Power saver? Right now I have it off.

About 30 % I usually keep my brightness quite low on all my devices. Was not happy that in the brief time I owned the LG G3 I had to have the brightness set to 50%

Mine is 100% during the day, that's because I work in construction half of the day I'm outside.

At home I normally keep it around 20-30 %.
