I had my phone replaced because the battery cover wasn't sealing properly. Think big gap where you can see the inside of the phone. Anyways, after replacing it my WiFi will randomly stop responding if I leave the room with the router. Turning WiFi off within the phone settings and back on solves the issue. The WiFi symbol always shows me as connected but when I try to load a web page it hangs for a few seconds and than says "You're offline".
I've checked every setting and this is frustrating me. This same thing happened on my Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx HD and I got rid of it because of that. My Note 2 and Note 3 were fine and so was my original S5.
