Micro Sd card question

Hi everyone just put a 64 GB microSD card in my S5 was just wondering will it automatically uses the 64 sd card when memory is full up on the phone ! or do you have to choose between phone and Sd card to save the data many thanks

If apps can use an external SD card, they will either do so automatically, or there will be a setting within the app for you to choose. SD cards don't act as a seamless expansion of the existing internal storage--they are a separate storage area.
