Headphone jack problem

Hi! Today I came up with the idea to test the Galaxy S5 water resistant ability! And I did so! And I encountered no problem but after a while , the Earphones connected notification starts showing and sometimes, it lasts for 10 minutes ! And after that, it is normal after 5 minutes and again in shows the notification. I'm really embraced! What can I do! Shall I bring it to a Samsung store?

I'm sure I read elsewhere of a similar problem and it turned out to be tiny droplets of water still in the headphone jack. Maybe try blowing the jack with a can of compressed air to get any residual water out.

Had same problem, took a q-tip, removed enough cotton to make it fit the jack, twisted a few times and voila, problem gone.
