location mode changing on its own

Is anyone having this problem? I set it to power saving but then it would switch to either gps or high accuracy on its own. I tried wiping the system cache but that didn't work. Mind you this is my second gs5 in less than a month. The first one had serious battery issues. Are there apps that switch it such as car mode?

I never seen this issue before.
It could be an app that uses GPS. When this issue started, did you download any apps that day?

Even if that's the case, there could be a rogue app that is messing with the GPS.
