Help with email

Hi,

I am looking for some help with my email on my S5. I have added my Hotmail account as my default email on my phone and set it up through the exchange system on the phone so that I had the option of having my emails 'pushed' to me. However this worked for the first few emails but ever since I have to go into my email and manually sync them to fetch any new emails, despite the settings still being set to 'push'.

As a tester I have just sent a email from my Google account to my Hotmail account and had my old iphone next to me. The email showed up straight away on my iPhone but I had to manually sync my S5 again to get the email.

Can anyone offer any help with this? Thanks.

Edit: sorry do you have sync enabled by default ?

The hotmail account is set as my default and under the sync settings I have master sync disabled because if I unchecked this option it comes up as email sync disabled. Hope this makes sense
