Home button suddenly opens google now

Why is the home button suddenly opening google?this is annoying

Has anyone found a solution to this. Mine started happening about a week after getting a brand new S5 active. I'd say start date was around 3/11/15. Unsure what I was running before that date, but now I'm on 4.4.4

I did a factory reset due to some other issues I was having and since then it hadn't happened to me once.

Not a perfect fix, but it at least makes it a little more bearable until this is fixed:

1. Go to Google Play Store and download swipelaunch.

2. Once installed, click the home button and it will say "open using" google or swipelaunch.

3. Select "swipelaunch" and click "Always."

4. Test it out.

The home button still does not work perfectly and you still sometimes have to click it a couple times. But at least the Google now doesn't pop up when it shouldn't.

Like I said, not the perfect fix. But it at least makes me a little more sane until android fixes this.

Fix it now:

Go to Settings> Application Manager> Google App> Turn off.
