Depends also on the carrier...

I don't know if it's ok to link another forum so mods just delete if needed...

Whatever that is, it is not stock. The rom is modified.

Your device is hacked...it's impossible to know if the issue is hardware or software related at this point. Likewise, it's impossible to tell you if returning to stock will resolve the issue for the same reason.

"Hacked" is the wrong word here. Your phone is running a custom ROM. First question is Did you flash that ROM, or did you receive the phone with that already on it? If you did it yourself, then a flash back to the stock ROM will probably fix the issue.

A lot of ROMS in their early stages will have bugs such as LTE not working, the camera not working, MMS messages not working, or even missing the ability to make calls at all.

If you did flash a custom ROM on your phone maybe try a different one, or just switch back to stock.

I've found this at xda-developers ( a website)

"Problem resolved by rooting device with this towelroot method and changing LTE value from false to true

This method has been tested only on G900F, G900M and G900I. Theoretically it should work on all the variants of S5 that were SUPPORTED by towelroot before updating . test and let me know ; ) "

I can not post link, so unable to post the link to the website..

You should use firmware for your device, model no. and carrier to be safe. Check your "settings/about devce" for your device specifics...and good luck!
