How do I get my Samsung S5 speaker to work?

Samsung S5 speaker not working

I bought my Samsung s5 two months ago and randomly on Saturday the speaker stopped working...it will work with headphones and if someone calls me with the headphones in...the speaker works??? Help!!!

Did you try factory reset? If so then you need to take it back for a defected phone.

Turn on your sound... LOL, no joking...

Set off your phone, hold these buttons for 5 sec:
- Power on/off button
- Home button
- Volume Up button

Then click Clear Cache Partification and Reboot Phone. Done.

What is the Clear Cache Partification? I got the computer looking texts after following the above and the option to reboot so I clicked it but then the android said error and rebooted. The volume/speaker still isn't working. I sent myself a text and it silently appeared. I made sure all my volumes are up. Any advise? thanks!
